Abstract

1468029 Centrifugal pumps SONESSON PUMPINDUSTRI AB 6 May 1974 [14 May 1973] 19786/74 Heading F1C In a centrifugal pump having a spiral housing containing an impeller with two separate blade rows 22, 24, Fig. 1, the blades of one row are circumferentially staggered relative to the blades of the other row so that the frequency of the pulses produced by the blades passing the tangential tongue (44), Fig. 5 (not shown) of the outlet diffuser, is increased. The outer row 24 may be provided with a peripheral shroud (38), Fig. 3 (not shown), in addition to the partition wall 26 separating the rows.
