1467882 Friction false twisting BAYER AG 20 March 1974 [20 March 1973] 40605/76 Divided out of 1467881 Heading DID Yarn is false twisted by passing it through a succession of rotatable friction twisting bushes having inlet and friction surfaces, there being guides to hold the yarn clear of the bush outlets. The guides may be rollers 6, Fig. 2. Inlet radius Ri, Fig. 3a, may be 20 to 30 mm, and radius Ra may be 40 to 60 mm.
