1466640 Anti-reflection coatings LEYBOLDHERAEUS-VERWALTUNG GmbH 5 Dec 1975 [5 Dec 1974] 50084/75 Heading G2J An anti-reflection coating formed by vacuum deposition on an optical substrate comprises at least one layer of a material having a higher refractive index and at least one layer of material having a lower refractive index, the high refractive index material containing between 80 and 92% ZrO 2 , the balance being two materials which improve the homogeneity of the ZRO 2 ; these two materials are Al 2 O 3 and TiO 2 or SiO 2 and TiO 2 .
