Abstract

1462108 Grafted cyclized rubbers IWATSU ELECTRIC CO Ltd 27 March 1974 [4 April 1973] 13629/74 Heading C3G [Also in Division G2] Electrostatographic developers (see Divisions G2-G3) include acrylic and methacrylic esters graft polymerized on to cyclized natural or synthetic rubbers. In the examples, mixtures of cyclized rubbers with 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, lauryl methacrylate and stearyl methacrylate are each polymerized under heat and pressure in toluene or a toluene/xylene mixture in the presence as catalyst of benzoyl peroxide, azobisisobutyronitrile and benzoyl peroxide respectively.
