1460595 Removing carbon dioxide from wet gases C J B DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 20 Feb 1975 [22 Feb 1974] 8192/74 Addition to 1439614 Heading B1L Carbon dioxide is removed from a wet gas stream by passage through an integrated absorption bed comprising, in sequence, (i) a water-absorbing bed (ii) a carbon dioxide absorbing bed and (iii) a water-saturated water-asborbing bed which reintroduces water to the gas stream. The first stage may be maintained at a higher pressure than the third stage. The process may be operated continuously by alternate switching to a second bed. The treatment of air from an apple store is described.
