1460042 Glass compositions; fibre reinforced cement TURNER & NEWALL Ltd 8 Feb 1974 [14 Feb 1973] 03011/74 Headings C1M and C1H [Also in Division C3] A glass composition consists of, in weight per cent where R 2 O is Na 2 O and/or K 2 O, optionally including up to 5% Li 2 O, and R<SP>1</SP>O is at least one of MgO, CaO, SrO and BaO. The rare earth metal oxide may be CeO 2 or a natural rare earth mixture. The glass may be in fibre form, in which case it may be used as reinforcement for a cementitious material, in an amount up to 30% by weight of the material (based on total dry weight).
