1457236 Pasteurising poultry ARMOUR & CO 21 May 1975 [6 June 1974] 21778/75 Heading A2D A method of pasteurising raw poultry comprises immersing the poultry in an edible oil having a temperature of 180 to 315‹F for 10-60 secs, and removing the poultry from the oil. The poultry may be chilled before immersion, or may be frozen before or after immersion. The oil may be any animal or vegetable oil or any edible triglyceride.
