Abstract

1455472 Pantie-girdle EUROCORSET SA 6 Feb 1974 [9 Feb 1973] 05454/74 Heading A3V A pantie-girdle has figure-controlling fabric panels 7 which overlie the gluteal masses and have seams 8; which extend along the lower edges of such masses to maintain the shape thereof, the panels 7 defining an opening overlying the cleft between the gluteal masses which opening is closed by a piece 1 of fabric which is smoother and more elastic than the material of the panels, the piece 1 being attached internally of the garment. Further pieces of material 6 which are not joined together also bridge the opening, externally of the piece 1, and are tensioned by seams 11, 12. The pieces 6 may be of leno weave and elastic only in the vertical direction. The piece 1 is moisture absorbent and porous and may be permanently fixed or detachable.
