Abstract

145,442. Krupp Akt.-Ges. Grusonwerk, F. Aug. 2, 1918, [Convention date]. Magnetic separators.-A magnetic separator in which the material to be separated is subjected to the action of two or more magnetic zones has means for separately adjusting the inclination of the feeding-table for each zone. The several feeding-tables 16, 17, 18 between the respective pairs of pole pieces 10/11, 12/13, 14/15 are pivotally attached to slots 22, 23, 24 so as to be capable of vertical adjustment. By altering the inclination of each table, the speed of the material passing through each zone may be varied. The separator is pivoted at 25 so as to be adjustable as regards inclination by means of the hand-wheel 26.
