Abstract

1453850 Cabinets C C LYE 21 Dec 1973 59345/73 Heading A4B [Also in Division F4] A display cabinet comprises a barrel 1 having a plane top 2 and bottom 3 and in which part of the side of the barrel is cut away so that the exposed area provides a display area. The cabinet includes a false top 8 and bottom 7. The interior may be lined with a mirror 11 supporting a shelf 20 by studs 12 secured to the mirror 11. The shelf 20 may be apertured to receive the tops of tall bottles standing on a base mirror 14. The cabinet may be provided with hinged doors which may be of glass or transparent plastics. Alternatively, sliding doors may be fitted. In another embodiment, Fig. 9, the cabinet has one half 90 for display and another half defining a refrigerator compartment 101 with a door 91 formed from the original barrel. The cabinet is rotatably mounted on a pedestal 92, 93 provided with castors 94. The cabinet may have a removable top 100.
