1451837 Hot-melt copolyamide adhesive dispersion CHEMISCHE WERKE HULS AG 14 Feb 1974 [15 Feb 1973] 6673/74 Heading C3R A dispersion in water of a high-temperatureresistant hot-melt adhesive based on a linear saturated copolyamide (C) contains a suspending or dispersing agent (thickener) and optionally a heat-stabilizer, and, by wt. based on (C), 3-30% water-soluble alkoxylated melamine resin and 0À1-2% catalyst with acid reaction, (C) having particle-size <100 Ám. (C) may be nylon 6/6,6/12. The catalyst may be phosphoric or p-toluenesulphonic acid. The thickener may be based on polyacrylic acid, cellulose, or polypyrrolidone. Use.-Bonding metal and/or rubber articles.
