1451434 Seals HAM BAKER & CO Ltd 28 Jan 1974 [28 Oct 1972] 49802/72 Heading E1J A seal assembly for penstocks and sluicegates comprises a sealing member 10 of a resilient plastics material e.g. Neoprene provided on a door 11 and in a closed position contacting a sealing member 12 of rigid plastics material e.g. PVC provided on a frame 13. The sealing members are fixed to the mounting members by providing one with a dove-tail 19 or saw-toothed 15 tongue and the other with a groove 16, 18 leaving wedge-shaped shapes 17 20 which are filled with a settable material e.g. an epoxy-resin cement.
