Abstract

1447718 Threading droppers, healds &c LINDAUER DORNIER GmbH 5 Aug 1974 [4 Aug 1973] 34340/74 Heading DIM A device for separating healds or droppers 6 from a stack, prior to threading, comprises relatively strong magnets 16 surrounding suction tubes 14 with relatively weak magnets 15 at their ends. In use the suction tubes 14 and magnets 15 are moved to engage a heald or dropper 6 and then moved away to separate the heald from the stack, further movement then causes the healds to engage the strong magnets 16 for movement to the threading station. Pivoting of the tubes 14 to the position R then disengages the healds ready for the next cycle.
