1447643 Frame clamp A GILLETT 21 Oct 1974 [20 July 1973] 34806/73 Heading B4W A frame clamp comprises four chock members 2 adapted to engage the corners of a frame 21 inserted in the clamp, a base 5 and rotatable handle means 6, 7 towards and away from which the chock members are movable and tensioning means such as wires 10 operable by the handle to draw the chock members against the corners of a frame. The chock members are pivotally and adjustably mounted on slides 11 which are slidably mounted in channel section arms 1 which extend from the base 5. The arms 1 are angularly adjustable and are secured at their inner ends to wire guide pillars 9. A screwdown locking cap 8 is provided on the operating handle to provide for locking of the clamp in its tensioned condition. As indicated in Fig. 4 each chock member 2 may have a vertical guide in the form of a fork on which there may be mounted a vertically adjustable upper clamping member 24 ... 27. Holes 4 in the base 5 of the handle means provide for attachment of the clamp to a baseboard or bench.
