Abstract

1446158 Sheet forming CENTRAL CORSETERA SA 10 March 1975 [28 Aug 1974] 9876/75 Addition to 1442003 Heading B5A An improvement in or modification of a machine for moulding cup-shaped parts forming the subject of Specification 1,442,003 comprises a stationary frame 5, a carrier plate 7 movable towards and away from the frame 5, and incorporating a heater on plate 9 mounted within the plate 7 and having holes 10, a pair of moulds 4 movable towards and away from the frame 5 to co-operate with the holes. In operation a sheet is clamped between the plate 7 and frame 5, by means of a rib (12) and resilient ring (13), not shown, and the moulds are lowered to press the sheet through the holes 10.
