1445462 Releasable fastenings N D GREEN 17 Oct 1974 [18 Oct 1973] 48627/73 Addition to 1352273 Heading E2A An end fitting for cord comprises a bore 11 of frusto conical shape and at least one frustrum of a cone to rest within the bore to reduce the size of the bore to accomodate cord of smaller diameter the end fitting having a plurality of eyes 12 each with an opening for radial entry of cord, a tongue 13 projects from at least one side of the opening and past which tongue or tongues the cord may be forced to enter each eye. The end fitting may be made of plastics and comprises a web portion 14 bounded by longitudinal flanges 15 and 16 and a flange 17 bounds the eyes 12.
