Abstract

1445053 Coating with particles XEROX CORP 25 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 18069/74 Heading B2E [Also in Division G2] A moving member is coated with insulating particles by being passed through a bed of the particles, with a corona discharge acting on the particles where the member emerges from the bed. The member may be a roller applying powder developer to an electrostatic latent image, a substrate which is coated with photoconductive powder to form a light-sensitive plate or a copy sheet which is coated with a thermoplastic powder, fused imagewise by exposure to an original.
