Abstract

1442161 Pipe joints BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AG 23 Aug 1973 [24 Aug 1972] 40102/73 Heading F2G [Also in Division F1] A carburettor resilient mounting arrangement comprises an inlet manifold flange 9, Fig. 2, and a carburettor flange 12 connected by screw bolts (and possibly nuts) with the interposition of elastic sealing elements 23, rubbermetal bushings 14 being arranged in one flange, the bushes having rubber flanges engaging over the rims of the flange holes on each flange side, and metal bushes 16 which are clamped by the fixing bolt. In another embodiment the packing ring 23<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 3, is mounted in a groove in a heat insulating flange 26.
