Abstract

1440881 Doors ANACONDA CO 4 June 1974 [6 June 1973] 24588/74 Heading EIJ A pivoted door assembly includes a fixed frame with a pivot jamb 28 having a projection 31, a door pivot stile 23 of part-circular cross-section with the pivots located centrally, the projection and stile being spaced less than finger width, a resilient arcuate guard (38, Fig. 4) on the door lock stile being of a width greater than finger width. Push 'bars 25a, 25b extend across the door and each has one end received in pivot stile 23 and the outer end secured by screw (43, Fig. 4). Lock cylinders 44 also extend through the push bars. In Fig. 8 (not shown) the push bars are replaced by intermediate rails (75) with pull members (79).
