Abstract

1435086 Time delay circuits J W FENTON 2 July 1973 [6 Sept 1972] 41234/72 Heading H3T [Also in Division G4] A time delay circuit for use in a vehicle theft alarm (see also Division G4) comprises a first threshold circuit ZD1, SCR1 triggerable by first permitting a capacitor C1 to charge fully and then earthing the end connected to TR1 in response to first opening and subsequent closure of door switch contacts connected between B and C. After a time delay determined by C2, R5, a further threshold circuit SCR2 is triggered via TR2, TR3. SCR2 intermittently actuates a make and break horn connected in series at A. SCR2 is triggered periodically by trigger pulse supplied from reservoir capacitor C3. The circuit is activated by closure of switch S1.
