Feeding-devices; mixing in definite proportions. -In grain and like mixing-machines of the hopper-feed type, each hopper 1 is constructed with a base casing 2 containing a segmental tray 9 forming a supporting-platform for the material in the hopper and being provided with a central raised portion 11 for feeding the material to an outlet 12 is the base casing. The segmental tray with its raised portion, or the raised portion only, is rocked to and fro beneath the aperture of the hopper by a rock-shaft 3 actuated by an adjustable crank-pin on a constantly rotating disk. Sliding or hinged regulating plates 10 may be provided.
