Abstract

1433618 Seat belt BRITISH LEYLAND UK Ltd 26 Sept 1974 [20 Oct 1973] 48996/73 Heading A3V A vehicle fitted with a seat belt 11 anchored at an upper point 12 also includes a lower anchorage 16-19 which will yield under excessive load. The anchorage comprises a wire 16 having a slot 19 in which the belt can be inserted. Clips 17, 18 yield under load so that the load is transmitted to the vehicle structure.
