1433132 Extruding; making screw compressor rotors HOWDEN COMPRESSORS Ltd 7 May 1973 [16 March 1972] 12223/72 Headings B3P and B3A A screw compressor rotor is made by manufacturing, e.g. casting, a blank having approximately the shape of the rotor, followed by exextruding the blank to form the rotor. The blank may be heated before extrusion and either the extrusion die or the blank may be rotated during the extrusion.
