Abstract

1425581 Chimneys PJT ENG CO Ltd 27 June 1973 [29 March 1972] 14639/72 Heading F4J In a sealing plate and clamp with a central aperture 5 receiving a metal chimney lining, two lugs 13 extending upwardly from a flange 6 have their free ends bent over to provide stops 14 for the tubular lining. The -plate is formed in two halves 1, 2 with end flanges 8 and 9 joined by nuts and bolts 7. Each half plate has a protruding nib 10 engaged in a corresponding recess 11 in the other half so that the two halves are coplanar when joined. The plate is formed with corrugations 12 forming stiffening ribs.
