Abstract

1422257 Sewing machines SINGER CO 11 April 1973 [1 May 1972] 17478/73 Heading D1G An electric driving motor 20 is pivotally mounted at 50 within the casing 14 of a sewing machine and has a housing 30 including an electric plug socket 31 contiguous with the pivot 50, a clearance hole 40 being provided in the casing 14 for a plug 33 engageable in the pivotal socket 31. A radial slot 60 of the motor housing is engaged by an adjustable eccentric pin (61) (Fig. 2, not shown) extending from a rotatable stud 62 in the housing to adjust the belt tension.
