Abstract

1422240 Mounting vehicle headlamps in bumpers ROBERT BOSCH GmbH and DAIMLER-BENZ AG 23 Feb 1973 [29 Feb 1972] 9800/73 Heading B7J [Also in Division F4] A vehicle headlamp is mounted in a recess 35 in the bumper 41 of the vehicle by means of a hinge 30 and a screw 29. On releasing of the screw 29, the headlamp may be swung out on the hinge for servicing. The headlamp comprises a frame 10 having a compartment 13 for an indicator light formed therein. The frame carries a light source 12 and reflector 11 and is sealed 22 at the rear by cover 20 which is held in place by two U-shaped spring bolts 21.
