1421142 Glass fibre manufacture ENGELHARD INDUSTRIES Ltd and TBA INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS Ltd 2 March 1973 [3 March 1972] 10176/72 Heading C1M [Also in Division C7] A bushing for producing glass fibre has one or more parts, not contacting the glass melt during use, made of Pd or an alloy of Pd and Rh optionally containing up to 30% of one or more other platinum group metals. Preferred alloys contain up to 10% (e.g. about 5%) Rh and the other metals may be one or more of Pt, Ir and Ru.
