Abstract

1419552 Steel compositions NIPPON STEEL CORP 3 April 1973 [3 April 1972 (2) 20 Sept 1972] 15779/73 Heading C7A An aluminium-killed steel which is particularly suited to the production of steel sheet by. hot and cold rolling and which is deep-drawable, consists, by weight of:- the balance being iron and impurities which may include a residual phosphorus content, and the ratio of boron to nitrogen being not greater than 0.74:1. The steel may be hot-rolled to a finishing temperature at or above the Ar 3 critical temperature, coiled at temperatures either above or below 680 C depending on required properties, recrystallisation annealed at e.g. above 650‹C and over-aged at e.g. 200 to 500‹C.
