1417424 Belt gearing RECKITT & COLMAN PRODUCTS Ltd 13 Nov 1973 [7 Sept 1972] 41502/72 Heading F2Q [Also in Division A4] In a flow cleaning machine a pulley 16 connected to a rotary cleaning element is driven by a smaller diameter multi-grooved motor driven driving pulley 12 via a belt 13 having a multigrooved face on one side engaging the pulley 12 and a smooth face on the other side engaging in the manner illustrated the pulley 16 and a pulley 18, carried by a rockable arm 19, and acted upon by a compression spring 21 which adjusts it to compensate for stretch of the belt 13 without substantially changing the tension thereof.
