Abstract
1417121 Heat-treatment of metal containers BANGOR PUNTA OPERATIONS Inc 23 Nov 1972 54254/72 Heading C7N [Also in Division F4] In a convection oven for heat-treatment of the interiors of upstanding containers 14, treatment fluid is directed parallel to the axes of the containers through the passages 42 in a honeycomb material 40. "Honeycomb material" means a material comprising a plurality of open-ended polygonal cells, the longitudinal axes of the cells being parallel to one another and the cells being separated from one another only by the wall thickness of the cell. A plate 50 with orifices 52 for further regulating the fluid-flow may be provided.
