Abstract

1415071 Injection moulding machines BRITISH BATA SHOE CO Ltd 6 March 1973 [28 Aug 1972] 10861/73 Heading B5A An injection moulding machine has two or more injection cylinders 7 fed by a screw conveyer 2 and operated in turn. Non-return valves 5 are provided between the screw conveyer and injection cylinders. The injection nozzles 11, 111 are shut off in turn by valves 13, 131 controlled by rams 14. The stroke of rams 9 operating the injection pistons 8 is controlled by end-of-travel contacts (not shown). The machine may be used for injection moulding footwear or soles on to uppers.
