1415039 6-Aminouracil derivatives TAKEDA YAKUHIN KOGYO KK 7 Sept 1973 42088/73 Heading C2C Novel compounds of the Formula (I) wherein R<SP>1</SP> is a C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkenyl group which may be unsubstituted or substituted with hydroxy or alkoxy, R<SP>2</SP> is halogen, nitro or C 1-4 alkyl or alkenyl and n is 0, 1 or 2, may be obtained by reacting a 6-aminouracil of the Formula II with a compound of the Formula III where X is halogen, in the presence of an inorganic base. Pharmaceutical compositions having diuretic, platelet aggregation inhibitory and bronchodilating actions comprise a compound of Formula (I) with a pharmaceutical carrier in forms suitable for oral or parenteral administration.
