1411710 Folding chairs RODRIGO DISENOS SOCIEDAD ANONIMA COMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL 1 Aug 1973 [7 Aug 1972] 36634/73 Heading A4J A folding chair which may be stacked when in the unfolded condition comprises a first member 1 to which is pivotally connected a second member 2 having an upper cross-bar which extends parallel to and forwardly of the pivot axis and supports a seat 3 which is pivotally connected to the first member along the pivot axis of the first member to the second member. Member 2 may be formed as separate legs and cross-bar inter-connected by intermediate elements (6, 7 or 8, 9) Figs. 4 or 5 (not shown) or as a flat strip having projecting ends 10, 11 which are pivotally connected to the first member. Alternatively the cross-bar 2c of the second member may be formed in the same plane as the legs 2a, 2b of the member Figs. 7 or 8 (not shown), projecting lugs (13) or (15) for pivotal connection to the first member being provided on the legs 2a, 2b adjacent the cross-bar.
