Abstract
1410579 Glucose isomerase ex Streptomyces glaucescens L GIVAUDAN & CIE SA 21 Feb 1974 [22 Feb 1973] 7935/74 Heading C3H [Also in Division C2] Glucose isomerase is obtained by cultivating microorganisms of the species Streptomyces glaucescens in a nutrient medium and isolating the glucose isomerase therefrom. Preferably the strain S. glaucescens ETH 22794 is used. The enzyme is used to convert glucose to fructose (see Division C2).
