Abstract

1409835 Epoxy resins CIBA-GEIGY AG 18 April 1973 [21 April 1972] 18766/73 Heading C3B [Also in Division C2] Curable mixtures comprise a polyepoxide of Formula I: (in which n is 2 to 9 and each of X 1 , X 2 , X 3 and X 4 is H or a group of Formula II wherein Y is H or CH 3 , with at most 2 of X 1 , X 2 , X 3 and X 4 being H) together with a curing agent. Curing agents which are used in the specific examples are hexahydrophthalic anhydride, isophorone-diamine, 4,4<SP>1</SP>-diamino-diphenylmethane, triethylenetetramine, 4,4<SP>1</SP>-diamino - 3,31 - dimethylcyclohexylmethane, 1- (isopropyl or cyclohexyl) - 4 - amino - 3- aminomethyl - piperidine, 3,3 - bis - (γ - aminopropyl) - 2 - methylpiperidine and 1,2 - bis- [4 - amino - 3 - aminomethylpiperidyl - (1)]- ethane.
