Abstract

1409007 Electronic watches SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 31 July 1973 [3 Aug 1972] 36362/73 Heading G3T In an electronic timepiece having a liquid crystal display portion connected by resilient contacts 15 to an electronic driving portion, a battery 16 is housed in a base member 13 and is spaced from the contacts 15, both the battery and the contacts being within the area of the display portion and adjacent its periphery. The display portion comprises a liquid crystal panel 9 glued to a frame 11 which is screwed to the base member. The driving portion comprises a printed circuit board 12, an oscillator 17, and MOS dividing and distributing circuitry 18.
