1407460 Toe clip attachment for skis COBER DI CRISTOFANELLI PIETRO E CONVINI LORENZO SnC 8 Nov 1972 [4 March 1972] 51481/72 Heading A6D A toe-clip attachment for skis comprises a body portion I for fixing to a ski and a displaceable member 4 actuatable by the toe of a ski boot and bearing against two spaced apart vertically extending pivots 14, 15 located symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the ski, the member 4 being held against the pivots by a rod 20 acted upon by resilient means, the rod being centrally located so as to generate a resilient return torque when lateral forces are applied to member 4. As shown the resilient means is a spring 17 the return force of which is adjustable by a nut 18 having means to indicate said force. The displaceable member 4 is adjustable in height by a screw 7 to suit different thicknesses of boot soles.
