Abstract

1407077 Vacuum insulated vessels ALADDIN INDUSTRIES Inc 23 Aug 1972 [8 Sept 1971] 39235/72 Heading B8T [Also in Division F4] A vacuum insulated carafe has a protective casing 2 with exterior threads 14 at its upper end for engaging inner threads at the lower end of a collar 4 integrally formed with a pouring spout 8 and a handle 6, which handle extends downwardly below the lower end of the collar in close proximity to the outer surface of the casing. An open ended vacuum insulated filler 16 is received within the casing into which filler a plastics liner 20 depends from the collar. An upwardly extending portion 24 of the collar has threaded sections 26 which are engageable with threads 32 on a cap 10 covering both the open end of the carafe and a closure 30 loosely fitting within the upper opening 28 at the collar. The cap has diametrically opposed openings 34 which when the closure is threaded on to the collar are in registration with the handle 6 and spout 8 for emptying the carafe.
