Abstract

140,664. Jardine, R., and Estler, P. T. J., Estler, E. P. B., and Estler, H. P. C., (trading as Estler Bros.). June 7, 1919. Disk-supported-blade fans.-Two fan impellers are arranged back-to-back with a cavity F between them. The inlets V are axial, and the impellers - discharge into separate volute chambers G. The bladings of the two impellers may be of different lengths and diameters, and the volute chambers may be correspondingly different. Either impeller may be removed without disturbing the other. The impellers may be driven by a motor housed in the cavity F.
