Abstract

1404843 Acoustic nozzles COMBUSTION EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATES INC 3 Nov 1972 [22 June 1972] 50772/72 Heading B2F In an acoustic nozzle gas is fed to a resonance chamber 16 and a plurality of passages 17 to intersect with the liquid to be atomised which is delivered through an annulus 18 and passages 21. Each passage 21 meets a respective passage 17. On a modification, Fig 4 (not shown), a stem (28) is located in the chamber 16 and this is stated to increase the efficiency of acoustic energy transfer to the gas.
