Abstract

1404487 Multilayered reinforced concrete slabs E HAEUSSLER 1 Dec 1972 55494/72 Headings E1B and E1W Two spaced reinforced concrete layers 1, 3 in a composite slab are spaced by tubular metal elements 4 acting as spacers and shear connectors. Synthetic resin foam 2 provides an insulating core. The tubular elements may be square or round cross-section or of circular section frusto-conical shape. They may be secured to steel mesh 6 by short rods 7 passing through apertures 5 on either side of the mesh.
