1402768 Door actuated mechanism for dispensing container valves J BRENEZ and A MOURGUES 4 Aug 1972 [27 Dec 1971] 36543/72 Heading F1R A device for actuating a pressurized dispenser valve by movement of a door, comprises a mounting bracket for the container carrying a door engaging lever 22 secured to, and for causing angular movement of, the actuator 18 which has internal teeth engaged by a spring pawl on a spindle 13 rotatable on the bracket and having an axial cam surface at the lower end which engages a complementary cam surface formed in a hollow button 4 mounted on the container valve tube 3. Angular movement in one or both directions of the lever 22, depending on the shape of the actuation teeth and the cam profiles, causes axial movement of the button.
