Abstract

1402189 Dispensing beer C V M ENG CO Ltd 15 Dec 1972 [15 Dec 1971] 58126/72 Heading A4T A beer dispenser has means for moving glasses on a shelf relative to a dispensing tap. A casing 1 has a rearwardly downwardly sloping shelf 2 supporting glasses 27 in slots 6 of plate 3 pivoted at 4, 5 and connected to a pneumatic ram 7 for moving from left to right a glass beneath tap 9 and the next glass up to contact switch 8. The tap is carried by platform 11 vertically movable by ram 12 and carrying ram 15 moving tap handle 10 to a first position for delivering flat stout, and ram 14 for a second position delivering a "heading" stout to complete a pre-set amount. Lowering of platform 11 pivots plate 3 downwards via a lever allowing ram 7 to reposition the plate after moving the glasses, after which raising of platform 11, after dispensing, pivots the plate upwards to re-engage the glasses preparatory to shifting the next glass under the tap, the sequence of movement being controlled by switch 8 and timers 25, 26.
