Abstract
1401258 Drawers PAUL HETTICH & CO 4 May 1973 [4 May 1972] 21440/73 Heading A4B A drawer 1 for furniture comprises at each rear corner an angle bracket 7 having on one limb 8 vertically spaced rollers for engaging between them a guide rail disposed at the side of the drawer, and on the other limb 9 two oppositely directed lugs 12, 13 for alternative engagement in a groove 4 in the rear wall of the drawer. The side walls of the drawer are grooved to receive rollers on the outer ends of the guide rails, and with the brackets 7 mounted as shown in Fig. 1 the rollers on the brackets are to the sides of the drawer so that the guide rails need not be disposed in the side grooves, Fig. 2 (not shown), but with the brackets mounted with the lugs 13 in the back groove, Fig. 3 (not shown), the rollers on the brackets are to the back of the drawer so that the guide rails need to project into the side grooves, Fig. 4 (not shown). The angle bracket may be made of sheet metal.
