Abstract

1400193 Shuttleless looms KLIMOVSKY ORDENOV LENINA I TRUDOVOGO KRASNOGO ZNAMENI MASHINOSTROITELNY ZAVOD 7 Sept 1972 [15 Dec 1971] 41527/72 Heading D1E To increase the time available for transfering the weft from an insertion rapier 2 to a receiving rapier 1, whidh meet in the shed, the rapier 2 is made longer than the rapier 1 and the rapiers operate with a time displacement so that, when the rapiers meet, the insertion rapier 2 is fully into the shed and the receiving rapier 1, which is not fully into the shed, travels with and in the same direction as the withdrawing insertion rapier to provide the extra time for transfer. The rapiers may have weft grippers or may be supplied with pressurised air and suction.
