Abstract

1398870 Pack of wall or ceiling covering sheet material REED INTERNATIONAL Ltd 31 Aug 1973 [11 Sept 1972] 42039/72 Heading B8C In a hermetically sealed pack containing at least one sheet of material for covering walls or ceilings, each sheet is water impermeable or includes at least one water impermeable layer, is provided with a water-activatable adhesive coating wetted with water and is disposed within the pack so that wetted adhesive coating does not contact the wear side of the sheet. The sheet may be folded along or across its longitudinal axis so as to sandwich the adhesive between the application face and then rolled up (Fig. 2). In another embodiment (Fig. 3), the sheet is folded in zig-zag fashion. In a still further embodiment sheets of a pair may have their adhesive coatings in contact and sandwiched between their application faces, a plurality of such pairs being packaged. The sealed pack comprises an expanded polyethylene wrapper. The adhesive coating may include fungicides.
