Abstract

1397961 Dynamo-electric machines SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO NV 16 May 1972 [18 May 1971] 22980/72 Heading H2A The stator poles 3 of an electric machine carry masses 26 of plastics insulating material having surfaces for locating a bearing bracket 27, 28. The plastics masses shown have guiding surfaces 29 and abutment surfaces 30. The frusto-conical bearing brackets 27, 28 are secured to the plastics masses using glue or a moulding compound. The plastics masses may additionally serve to secure the pole laminations together, Fig. 3 (not shown), to secure the stator windings 7 in position, Fig. 6 (not shown), and to secure the stator yoke to the poles, where these are formed separately (Fig. 6). Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,336,439.
