Abstract

1397750 Dispenser for bags H S SUOMINEN & E I KULMALA 26 Oct 1972 [26 Oct 1971] 49358/72 Headings A4G and A4T [Also in Division B8] A bag dispenser holds a bundle of bags, each being side-gussetted, formed of plastics film and having a broader back wall 3 than front wall 2 so that flanges 7 on the dispenser hold the side edges of the back wall 3 and allow the bag to be opened while in the dispenser, e.g. by means of an air nozzle. In each of its walls 2, 3 is a thickened zone 5 in which carrying apertures 4 are formed. The gussetted sides may include a single gusset, as shown, or a double gusset Fig. 3 (not shown). A spring urged push plate 8 urges the bags against the flanges 7. The pressure exerted by the push plate 8 is adjustable. The case may be made of metal or plastics sheet or it may be in the form of a frame made of steel wire.
