Saws.-A tool for dressing or equalizing the length of the teeth of circular saws comprises a bracket a adapted to rest on the saw frame B and carrying a distance-piece b and a part c, which is pivotally mounted on the bracket by means of a bolt d and angularly adjustable to positions determined by a thumb-screw i and holes h. A slot is formed in the underside of the part c adapted to hold a file or other dressing-medium f which is adjustably secured in place by a screw g; the slot is made in two parts at right-angles to each other, one part receiving the file &c., and the other part being adapted to receive the teeth of the saw. In operation, the saw is revolved and the device is pressed by hand against the teeth.
