Abstract

1394128 Rotary positive-displacement fluid machines DANFOSS AS 6 July 1972 [16 Aug 1971] 31724/72 Heading F1F In a gerotor-type machine such as a motor or pump, having rollers 24 in recesses 23 on a fixed ring 8 engaging with a planetary wheel 14 wear is reduced by a proportion of the working fluid entering the recesses from the high-pressure side of the machine through passages 26. To permit reversal without reduction of pressure in said passages non-return valves (30), Figs.1 and 2 (not shown), may be provided between the passages 26 and the high- and low-pressure sides. If the machine is required for uni-directional rotation only each passage 26 may be replaced with a passage 26' disposed as shown relative to the direction of rotation. (For Figure see next page)
